“These poetry and art classes are unique. The tutors are engaging and we have enjoyed exploring poetry, writing our own creativity, sometimes surprising ourselves. I have learnt a lot of art skills and have explored reams and reams of interesting poems. I feel replete from this. I cannot imagine not coming to these classes on a weekly basis. The tutors are kind skilled and very engaging. They both encourage us and meet us at our own level. The atmosphere is one of purposeful intent without judgment.” Helen
“Art & Poetry class is more often than not the highlight of my week. Laura and Toby create an open, inclusive and encouraging environment which gives me the confidence to try things and I can see my skills improving. I like the opportunity to try new things such as charcoal and watercolour – they always find a way for me to have a go, even if I end up doing things differently or at a different pace to accommodate my disabilities. I am also always free to go back to my own projects, but advice and support is there as and when I need it. Having this time every week where I have the space to create without worrying about doing it correctly and the friendly and supportive relationships with others is the best!” Hannah
“Laura and Lucy are marvellous, caring and good fun.” Anna
